As of May 23,2024 the project was awarded to Idaho Roofing Partners in the amount of $166,285 The 5,500 SF roof for the Maintenance Building will be replaced. Demolition includes removing the existing ridge vent, asphalt shingles, snow clips, and most or all of the plywood sheathing to expose the roof interior. Existing batt insulation will be removed. Mitigation of mold may be necessary. Some ceiling gypsum board may be removed if mold is identified when insulation is removed. Cleaning, vacuuming, and drying may be used as specified. Roof reconstruction will include liquid applied air/vapor barrier, spray-on insulation, ice & water shield, new (or salvaged) sheathing, snow clips, shingles and a reconstructed ridge vent. Additionally, where eave block vents have not been cut, those will be added. Removal and disposal of all materials will be the responsibility of the Contractor. The work is anticipated to begin by May 1, 2024 and be finally complete by September 1, 2024, though this time frame may be negotiated.
