TxCDBG Downtown Revitalization Program The engineer's estimate is $320,000. Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 1. 600 SY Pavement Demolition 2. 680 SY Reinforced Concrete Pavement 3. 470 LF Curb & Gutter 4. 500 LF Handrail 5. Asphalt Pavement Repair 6. Street lights and associated electrical conduit, wiring appurtenances, etc. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Wallis or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond The City ofWallis reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities and informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City ofWallis for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date ofthe bid opening for the purpose ofreviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award
