The Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the facilities proposed in the contract drawings. The work is subject to, but not limited to the expansion of, or improvement to the equipment and structures associated with the following 1. Upgrade/replacement of the existing pump control panel and backup control panel with new panels at sixteen (16) locations as shown on the contract drawings. 2. Provide and install new backup control panels at sixteen (16) pump station locations. 3. Provide and install new pump control panels at eleven (11) pump station locations. 4. Reuse the existing pump control panel enclosure at five (5) pump station locations as shown on the Contract Drawings. 5. Demolition of all replaced equipment unless specifically noted in the Contract Drawings. 6. Provide new wire and conduit for all equipment as shown on the Contract Drawings. 7. Provide for expansion of grounding system for new equipment. 8. Provide a fiber optic termination cabinet at four (4) stations as shown on the Contract Drawings. 9. Provide and install thirteen (13) generator fuel level transmitters as shown on the Contract Drawings. 10. Provide and install backplanes with new SCADA equipment for thirty-six (36) duplex pump station SCADA panels as shown on the Contract Drawings. The overall system general requirements are given in this section. These requirements apply to each additional section of these specifications as noted herein and as specified in the associated sections. The facility is to remain in operation throughout the hardware and software upgrades. B. Work includes engineering, furnishing equipment, installing, testing, documenting and placing in operation the modifications to the Process Instrumentation and Control System (PICS) as described herein and on the contract drawings.
