The City is soliciting Bids for the Cross Connection Control Survey Work and annual testing of Backflow Prevention Devices as per CSA B64.10-23/B64.10.1-23 (STANDARD) for various municipal buildings. The City has a Backflow Prevention Program in place and requires all facilities in the Program to undertake a Cross Connection Control Survey every five years; all testable backflow preventers to be tested upon its installation and annually thereafter; and all new backflow preventers to be installed based on the recommendations on the Cross Connection Control Survey Reports which have been accepted by the City's Environmental Services Department.
