Reference Number 0000346947 Civil Engineering Services The City of Wayne is accepting bids from qualified contractors to provide engineering services for the Remediation of an underground reservoir. Location: Goudy Park, 2nd Street, Wayne, Michigan Under the existing amphitheater, there is an open reservoir and recently, as a part of the environmental work that had to be completed as a requirement of the federal funding, a structural engineer performed a preliminary analysis of the existing reservoir (275 X 51 x 12). The report came back with evidence of deterioration and significant concerns. Due to reservoir structural safety concerns, the City has restricted access to the plaza to prevent public gatherings and large loads, such as vehicles, until further investigations and possible remediation are performed.
