Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wayne, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Bids are solicited on a unit price basis. Work under this Contract consists of all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all the required improvements for replacement of water service leads and associated restoration for HMA pavement, concrete curb & sidewalk and turf establishment as necessary. Hydro excavate and verify the existing material, size, and location of existing water service lines as listed in Appendix A, as directed by the Engineer and as specified in the Contract Documents. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, money order or bid bond, payable to the OWNER, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Proposal, as a Bid Security. The Bid Security of the Bidders under consideration will be returned after approval of the Contract by the OWNER. All others will be returned after the Proposal opening. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond, and Maintenance Bond each in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract. The following requirements shall apply to the Contract for the work of this project and to all subcontracts thereunder: 1) State of Michigan Revolving Fund Requirements; 2) Project Wage Determination (under the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended, and related statutes); 3) Equal Opportunity Clause (Executive Order 11246); 4) Debarment Certification. The successful bidder shall fully comply with all of these special provisions and shall be responsible to ensure compliance with same by all of his subcontractors. Bids not incompliance with the contract requirement will risk forfeit of bid security bond. This project requires compliance with the Davis Bacon Act and adherence to the current U.S. Department of Labor Wage Decision. The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Proposal, to reject any or all Proposals, and to waive any irregularities in any Proposal, in the interest of the OWNER.
