The Base Bid Item 1 will include sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, driveway approaches, curb, earth work, placement of mailbox's, sign relocation, tree removal, retaining wall, and other incidental items, to be located on South Union Street, from SR 26 to the Town Limits to the South, with in the Town of Russiaville. The Alternate Bid Item 1 will include sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, driveway approaches, driveway culvert, concrete drainage channel in sidewalk, earth work, moving of telephone pedestals, sign relocation, tree removal, and other incidental items, to be located on North Union Street, from Lions Street to CR 330 South (North Town Limit), with in the Town of Russiaville. The Project, which is funded from town and federal funds and will be constructed in up to one (1) contract division. In general, the work consists of providing all labor and materials for the proposed sidewalk extension. Bidders shall provide with their fee, their Company Name, complete street address (no PO Box), phone number, Fax number and the contact person's name. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Bid. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. All bids received shall remain valid and in force for 60 calendar days after the date of Bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part as specified in the solicitation when it is not in the best interest of the governmental body as determined by the purchasing agency in accordance with IC 5-22-18-2. The Owner also reserves the right to waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid, which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
