Install erosion control devices prior to beginning construction activities. 2. Remove and replace damaged sections of concrete curb and gutter marked in the field by the Engineer. 3. Sawcut and remove existing bituminous pavement in the northwest parking lot and the northwest perimeter drive. 4. Grade existing aggregate base to accommodate new bituminous pavement section, cement stabilize existing soils to a depth of 12 inches, regrade, recompact, and dispose of excess soils. 5. Place new bituminous pavement over prepared base. 6. Stripe the northwest parking lot and the northwest perimeter drive as shown on the Drawings. 7. The following quantities shall be included in the Base Bid. The Unit Prices (see Section 01 20 00) will only be used to adjust the Contract amount for variances from these specified quantities: a. Concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement: 200 linear feet b. Portland cement for base stabilization: 320 tons B. Bus Garage 1.
