Robinson Tower Resurfacing & Lindsey Tower Resurfacing & OU and SEC Logos on Approximately Four (4) Elevated Water Towers The project includes the 500,000-gallon Robinson elevated water storage tank that is to be rehabilitated and repainted. The project also includes the 500,000-gallon Lindsey elevated water storage tank that is to be rehabilitated and repainted or demolished based on determination by the Norman Utilities Authority (OWNER). Additionally, the installation of approximately four (4) OU & four (4) SEC logos on other elevated water storage tanks in Norman, OK is included in the project. The Robinson EST is located at 435 W Robinson St, Norman, OK 73069. The Lindsey EST is located at 668 E Lindsey St, Norman, OK 73069. All logos will also be installed in Norman, OK. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding all local conditions. . The OWNER further reserves the unconditional right to cancel all or any portion of this project within sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids, for any reason and at its sole discretion. Estimated Quantities: The quantities shown in the proposal are approximate and are used as a basis for establishing the cost of the work and in determining the successful Bidder. It shall be the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR to confirm these quantities. Any item of work as indicated on the plans but not specifically itemized in the proposal shall be considered to be a subsidiary part of the proposal, and the CONTRACTOR shall include said subsidiary as part of the individual bid items or overall bid. Any changes in the scope of work shall be authorized by prior, written change order in accordance with the General Conditions. A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders.
