Renovation of a mixed-use development in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and water / sewer project.

1.2 Project Description (the "Work") Work will generally include removal of a portion of the concrete slab and existing waterproofing system at the outer edge of the basement below, installation of new drainage and waterproofing, and concrete slab replacement. Refer to the attached Construction Documents for specific scope of Work. A hazardous materials survey was completed. No hazardous materials are expected to be encountered during this project. The contractor shall coordinate work with UMN Landcare to minimize any rework/repair of adjacent landscaping and irrigation. Miller Dunwiddie is the Architect/Engineer of Record for the Project. 1.4 Contract Sum The selected Respondent will perform the Work for a Contract Sum that shall be a fixed, lump sum that shall include all costs necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents, including Respondent's overhead and profit. The total construction budget for this Project is $935,000 (current dollars, no escalation). 1.5 Critical Project Schedule Dates The University requires the Project to be substantially complete by no later than August 30, 2024. Deadline for RFP Questions April 9, 2024 at Noon Participation of Targeted Businesses equal to or greater than thirteen percent (13%) of the Base Bid/Proposal costs. No less than 75% of the work or material contracted to the identified TGB enterprise(s) must be performed or supplied by said TGB enterprise(s) Contractor shall request for inspections from the University Building Code Division, 270 Donhowe Building, 319 - 15 th Ave. SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455, (612) 625-3318, 48 hours prior to when the inspection is needed.
