Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Berens River, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Construction Firm Chosen Will Be Required to Perform and Be Responsible for the Following Services and Duties: A) Construction of a Two-lane Single-span Steel Girder Structure Across the Beren's River, Including, but Not Limited to, the Construction of Cast in Place Concrete Substructure Foundations, Supply Steel Girders, Installation of Steel Girders Which May Require Launching, Design and Construction of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (Mse) Wall Embankments, Construction of Cast in Place Concrete Bridge Deck, and Construction of Approach Roadworks; B) Construction of the Structure to Meet the Owner's Statement of Requirements (Osr). The Osr and Performance Specifications, to Be Specified in the Tender, Are Intended to Meet the Key Programmatic, Technical Standards and Requirements Identified by the Owner; C) Securing All Required Permits From the Authorities Having Jurisdiction; and D) Completing and Commissioning the Project Within the Schedule and the Fixed Price Established by the Construction Agreement.
