Renovation of a municipal facility in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Escambia County seeks to replace the existing stand-by generators at three separate County owned facilities. The existing service at each facility shall be replaced. A complete and functional electrical service and standby power system shall be provided for each building to support full generator back-up of the entire service load. The generator sets, 48-hour sub-base fuel tanks, catwalks, and automatic transfer switches (ATSs) shall be owner-furnished/contractor-installed. All other equipment, conduit, wiring, devices, generator startup services, etc. as required for a complete and functional system shall be provided and installed by the contractor. Question Submission Deadline: May 24, 2024, 2:00pm The existing service at each facility shall be replaced. A complete and functional electrical service and standby power system shall be provided for each building to support full generator back-up of the entire service load. The generator sets, 48-hour sub-base fuel tanks, catwalks, and automatic transfer switches (ATSs) shall be owner-furnished/contractor-installed. All other equipment, conduit, wiring, devices, generator startup services, etc. as required for a complete and functional system shall be provided and installed by the contractor. A new 500kW, 208Y/120V, 3-phase/4-wire diesel generator shall be provided to serve the entire service for the Brownsville Community Center. The new generator shall be provided with a 48-hour sub-base fuel tank, HVHZ enclosure, and elevated catwalk. The existing service, service disconnect switch, and feeder to fused switchboard P1 shall be demolished. A new service shall be extended from the existing FPL pad-mount transformer, east of the building, to a new 2,000A, 208Y/120V, 3-Pole, NEMA 3R, service-rated ATS adjacent to the transformer. A 2,000A feeder shall extend from the new ATS to switchboard P1. Government Office Complex (Ernie Lee Magaha) - 221 Palafox Place The existing standby power system, consisting of an 80kW, 208Y/120V, 3-phase/4-wire generator, an ATS in the 221 Palafox building main electrical room, an ATS in the Artel Gallery and all associated feeders, shall be disconnected and removed. ' The existing standby power system will be replaced with a new 400kW, 480Y/277V, 3-phase/4-wire diesel generator. The generator shall be provided with a 48-hour sub-base fuel tank and High-Velocity Hurricane-Zone (HVHZ) aluminum enclosure. The new generator shall serve the entire service for 221 Palafox via an 800A, 480Y/277V, 4-Pole, NEMA 3R, service-rated, ATS. The existing service to Switchboard MDP shall be demolished. A new service shall extend from the existing FPL pad-mount transformer in the 221 Palafox parking lot to the new servicerated ATS. An 800A feeder shall extend from the new ATS to switchboard MDP. The main circuit breaker at MDP shall be adjusted to 840A and the neutral and ground shall be isolated within the switchboard. A second generator feeder shall extend from the new generator to a new 175A, 208Y/120V, 4-Pole, NEMA 1 ATS in the Artel Gallery main electrical room. 2.3. 2. Department of Juvenile Justice - 1800 St. Mary Street A new 800kW, 480Y/277V, 3-phase/4-wire diesel generator shall be provided to serve the entire service for the Department of Juvenile Justice. The new generator shall be provided with a 48-hour sub-base fuel tank, HVHZ enclosure, and elevated catwalk. The existing service to Switchboard MSWB shall be demolished. A new service shall be extended from the existing Escambia County-owned pad-mount transformer, east of the building, to a new 1,200A, 480Y/277V, 3-Pole, NEMA 3R, service-rated ATS adjacent to the new generator. A 1,200A feeder shall extend from the new ATS to Switchboard MSWB. The main circuit breaker of MSWB shall be adjusted to 1,200A and the neutral and ground shall be isolated within the switchboard. 2.4. 3. Brownsville Community Center - 3200 West De Soto Street A new 500kW, 208Y/120V, 3-phase/4-wire diesel generator shall be provided to serve the entire service for the Brownsville Community Center. The new generator shall be provided with a 48-hour sub-base fuel tank, HVHZ enclosure, and elevated catwalk. The existing service, service disconnect switch, and feeder to fused switchboard P1 shall be demolished. A new service shall be extended from the existing FPL pad-mount transformer, east of the building, to a new 2,000A, 208Y/120V, 3-Pole, NEMA 3R, service-rated ATS adjacent to the transformer. A 2,000A feeder shall extend from the new ATS to switchboard P1.
