Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
In accordance with the plans and specifications, this work shall consist of constructing pedestrian ramps and modify signals/pedestrian crossings at three (3) intersections. Project includes new 10' Multi-Use Path and installing curb, gutter, and sidewalk. Proposals must be accompanied by an original or photocopy or electronic version, e.g. PDF, FAX, etc. of certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond (collectively referred to hereafter as "Bid Security") issued by a surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of Idaho, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal submitted. Question Deadline 04/08/2024 at 12:00 PM MT All questions or clarifications concerning the content and requirements of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) must be posted in the Q&A section of the solicitation located at the electronically. The work shall be completed in its entirety on or before August 14, 2024. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about May 13, 2024. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $2,000 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. The right is reserved to reject all proposals or reject any proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents whenever such action appears to be in the best interest of ACHD.Award of a contract pursuant to this invitation may be delayed, without penalty, for up to sixty (60) calendar days after the date of bid.
