Renovation of a military facility in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Project Location: Orchard Combat Training Complex (OCTC), Boise, Idaho A description of the work of this project can be summarized to: Repair two adjacent military training ranges, Range 1 and Range 36, at the Orchard Combat Training Complex (OCTC) south of Boise, Idaho. Repair existing target emplacements by replacing existing railroad tie retaining walls with new precast concrete coffins and concrete block retaining walls. Construction of new storm water drainage swales. Repair 15 KV power distribution systems with new 15 KV switchgear, underground 3-phase feeders, precast concrete pull boxes, 15 KV sectionalizers, and pad mounted transformers. Repair 240 volt systems with new panelboards, underground feeders, and precast concrete pull boxes. Repair target controls with new data termination racks, fiber optic fusion splice panels, underground conduits/innerducts, precast concrete pull boxes, and fiber optic cables. All electrical systems installed in a common trench. All trenches and disturbed areas to be reseeded. All work is to be accomplished within 540 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Failure to perform the work within the established time period will be grounds for withholding an appropriate amount of compensation as damages for delay.
