Repairs, Painting, Cleaning for 2717 and 2719 Sand Rd., NE, Bluestone Park, AMP 259. AH bids in excess of $100,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, (Part E - Solicitation Document B), or an acceptable Bid Guarantee. The selected Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond (Part F - Contract and Bond Forms) payable to the "City of Roanoke Redevelopment and Housing Authority" for the full amount of the Contract for a contract in excess of $100,000, the cost of the bond to be included in the base bid. The selected Bidder will also be required to furnish a Labor and Material Payment Bond (Part F - Contract and Bond Forms), which shall guarantee the completion of the Contract labor, and materials. Said Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond to be in such form and with such sureties as RRHA may approve. While RRHA must promote full and open competition among prospective bidders, small business enterprises, Section 3 businesses, Minority, Service-Disabled Veteran, and Women-Owned business enterprises are encouraged to submit Bids as well as all other enterprises. Section 3 businesses (only) are also eligible for certain preferences (Part D - Section 3 Information and Forms).
