Site work for a mixed-use development in Panama City Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of May 22, 2024 project was awarded to 3 Rivers Construction LLC, but awarded amount is not available. This scope does not include the irrigation well permit. The Project to be bid upon is described as follows: The existing parcel is unimproved right-of-way that is owned by Walton County. It is located between 117 S Camp Creek Road & 139 S Camp Creek Road, Inlet beach Fl, 32461. The County is proposing a parking area with (2) standard parking spaces, (1) ADA parking space, a varying width concrete ADA accessible path down to a proposed dock with a kayak/canoe launch. The design also includes segmental block walls for a terraced look, enhanced vegetation, and shoreline stabilization. Directing questions to any other staff, project engineer and any other person is prohibited and will result in bid being disqualified. Questions received after such date and time will not be answered. The bidder is responsible for the delivery of its bid. Bids received after the specified day and time will not be opened. To be considered, bidder may still submit a bid digitally on a usb thumb drive, along with one original paper bid, in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Itb no: 24-17 camp creek lake canoe kayak launch project " addressed to bids: central purchasing at 176 montgomery circle, defuniak springs, fl 32435. electronic bid submitted through its e-procurement portal accessible via. All information regarding this bid can be found on the County's website e-procurement portal. In the event the apparent low bid submitted by a responsive, responsible bidder exceeds the County's budget for the Project, the County reserves the right to value engineer the published scope of work in order to effect deductive cost changes. In light of the modified scope of work, the County shall review the three lowest bids submitted by responsive, responsible bidders in order to select one bidder to whom to award the contract. The County reserves the right to reject any or all Bid(s), and may postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not extend beyond thirty (30) calendar days from the bid opening date. A person or an affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for public entity crime may not submit a bid on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017, Florida Statutes, for CATEGORY TWO for a period of thirty-six (36) months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendors list. Walton County, as a political subdivision of the State of Florida, shall comply with Executive Order Number 11-02, dated January 4, 2011, and shall require that contractors utilize the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of: (a) all persons employed during the contract term by the contractor to perform employment duties within Florida; and (b) all persons (including subcontractors) assigned by the contractor to perform work pursuant to the contract with the County. Pursuant to 287.05701, Florida Statutes, the County may not request documentation of or consider a contractor's social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the contractor is a responsible contractor. Further, the County may not give preference to a contractor based on the vendors social, political, or ideological interests.
