Renovation of a detention facility in Big Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Bid for Approximately 2,500 square feet of EPDM roof system at the Mecosta County Jail Located at 225 South Stewart, Big Rapids, MI 49307. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Move the existing stone ballast aside and save for reuse. 1. Remove the existing EPDM roof system and haul from the site. 2. The existing roof insulation to remain in place. Wet or damaged insulation to be replaced on a time and material basis. 3. Install a ballasted 60 mil EPDM roof system complete with all flashings and accessories. 4. Install pre finished sheet metal gravel stop at all perimeter locations. 5. Redistribute the stone ballast. 6. Install the concrete pavers to match the original layout. 7. Replace all wood blocking under the conduits with manufactured conduit supports. 8. Provide a roof system manufacturers 15 year warranty upon completion and payment in full. Mecosta County, Michigan will distribute bid documents to eligible contractors for the described work. A copy of all official bidding documents will be available for reference at: 1. The Mecosta County Building/ Big Rapids.
