Renovation of an educational facility in Big Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of July 15, 2024, the project has been awarded to Sowel Properties Inc. with an award amount of $37,950.00. All work on the Hillcrest project is scheduled to be complete by mid to end of August. The Mecosta-Osceola School District is seeking bids for ceiling tile services. The work involves installing new ceiling tiles on an existing grid. The work will be performed at 501 W. Bridge Street, Big Rapids, MI 49307, commonly known as Hillcrest Elementary. Work must be completed by August 12, 2024. Bid to include: o Labor, materials, permits, and related expenses for the installation of new ceiling tiles throughout the entire building. o The existing ceiling tiles will be removed by MOISD prior to the start date (the grid will remain). o Bids shall include the installation of tiles in the existing grid, any prep work needed on the grid, and any related material or labor expenses. The MOISD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and is not obligated to award the contract to the lowest bidder. The MOISD is an equal-opportunity employer. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked on the outside of the envelope "Ceiling Tile Bid" and contain a copy of current workers' compensation and liability insurance certificates. Work can start immediately after the awarding of the bid.
