Virtual School Restroom Remodel The project scope of work includes remodeling existing restrooms at the Big Rapids Virtual School including (but not limited to) the following: 1. Selective demolition of building elements within existing restrooms. 2. Architectural remodeling for two new single use toilet rooms. 3. Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical remodeling. TIME OF COMPLETION: Work shall be substantially complete no later than August 15th , 2024. Final completion shall be achieved no later than August 22th, 2024. Bids shall be executed on the Bid Form provided. Each proposal must be accompanied by a satisfactory certified check, money order, or bid bond payable to Big Rapids Public Schools for not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid and delivered in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name, address, and project identification. PERFORMANCE BOND AND PAYMENT BOND: The successful Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond in an amount of not less than one hundred (l00%) percent of the contract sum as a security for the faithful performance of this contract and also a Payment Bond in an amount of not less than one hundred (l00%) percent of the sum of contract as security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the project under the contract and/or furnishing materials in connection with the contract. Bidders shall include the premiums for bonds in their proposals, with all costs for the performance and payment bond included in the base bid amount.
