Project was awarded to GEM Environmental in the amount of $64,0211.20 Questions Due March 22, 2024 @ 9:00 a.m. The term of the resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025. The agreement term may change if CHP makes an award earlier than expected or if CHP cannot execute the agreement in a timely manner due to unforeseen delays. If the contract price exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), the Contractor shall furnish an original payment bond and a duplicate copy to accompany the contract in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the contract. The bond MUST be prepared on the STD 807 form, Payment Bond to Accompany Construction Contract, provided to the Contractor by CHP before execution of the contract. If progress payments are provided for in the bid and the contract amount exceeds ten thousand dollars ($10,000), the successful bidder shall furnish an original faithful performance bond and a duplicate copy in a sum not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the contract. The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that to provide E-85 Fuel Tank Conversion Services. Bids must address all of the services described in Exhibit A entitled, "Scope of Work" that is included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. Exhibit A contains a detailed description of the services and work to be performed, as a result of this IFB including those terms in the referenced exhibits. The CHP intends to make a single agreement award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid.
