Site work for a water / sewer project in River Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of River Falls will receive bids for the 2024 Directional Boring Contract. The work specified in this contract consists of furnishing and installing electrical and fiber optics using the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) method of installation, also commonly referred to as directional boring or guided horizontal boring. This work shall include all necessary services, equipment, and labor for the complete and proper installation, testing, surface restoration, replacement of any damaged utilities, environmental protection and traffic control. The work includes the following approximate quantities: Directionally Drill 2" HDPE Conduit: 4600 LF, Directionally Drill 3" HDPE Conduit: 599 LF, Directionally Drill 3" with 2" HDPE Conduit: 2029 LF, Pull Owner Supplied Cable into 2" and 3" Conduit: 6131 LF, Directionally Drill Two-6" HDPE Conduits: 3668 LF, Pull Owner Supplied Cable into 6" Conduit: 3668 LF, Pull Cable into 6" HDPE Conduit: 3668 LF. Est. Completion Date: Nov. 1, 2024 Site Directions: See project manual. Most boring is within city limits or the township of Troy.
