Location of the Work: Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bethesda in Bethesda, Maryland Description of Work: This project is a design-bid-build requirement and renovation project to an existing HVAC system, work including but not limited to ductwork, VAV Boxes and TAB. The project includes the reconfiguring and rebalancing of all HVAC zones located at levels two and three of the Uniformed Services University Health Sciences (USUHS) Building 70. *See drawings and specifications for full description. Estimated Budget Amount or Price Range: In accordance with DFARS 236.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Time for Completion: In accordance with FAR 52.211-10 Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work, the Government desires completion of construction within 533 calendar days after award (includes 15 calendar days for submission and approval of bonds and insurance). Wage Determination: Department of Labor (DoL) General Decision Number MD20240053 05/10/2024 applies to this work. Should this wage determination be modified by DoL prior to award, the most current wage determination will be incorporated at the time of award. Liquidated Damages: In accordance with FAR 52.211-12 Liquidated Damages - Construction, liquidated damages, at the time of award, will be based upon the liquidated damages for the base price, plus any option or combination of options exercised. If an option(s) is exercised within the timeframe allowed after award, the liquidated damages will be increased based upon the liquidated damages for that option.
