Work consists of removing the existing curb and topsoil system to include the existing sidewalk. Providing and installing new concrete apron system to include bollards & associated components. System is located in the rear of the Steiner building at the Maryland School for the Deaf in Columbia. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to verify the exact location of the system and the modifications necessary to fit new proposed system properly in the available space for a fully functional system without any additional costs to the Owner. The work will also include providing or modifying existing door entrance configurations in which to provide a base for the installation of the new concrete apron system.
