Scope of Work: Scope includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals to change six (6) backwash tanks filter media from sand filtration to activated filter media at T.Y Park's Castaway Island Water Park for Broward County Parks and Recreation Division in accordance with the Specifications and Requirements. Scope of Work: Supply all labor, equipment, and material to change the following six (6) backwash tanks, located at T.Y Park's Castaway Island Water Park, filter media from sand filtration to activated filter media or approved equal glass filtration. Contractor shall remove and dispose of current sand media in filter tanks (6) and replace with glass media, in accordance with activated filter media loading guidelines. Contractor shall provide internal inspection of the filter tanks, replacement of laterals as needed, replacement of filter air relief, installation of manway gaskets and filter start-ups. Goal Participation: This solicitation is open to the general marketplace. Refer to the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Procurement Preferences for Broward County Small Business Enterprises and County Business Enterprises section for additional information. Basis of Award: The basis of award shall be to the lowest, responsive, and responsible Vendor by the sum of all line items. Refer to Special Instructions for additional information. County/State License Requirements: In order to be considered a responsive and responsible Vendor for the scope of work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess a specified license at the time of submittal (refer to Special Instructions for requirements). Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Periscope S2G by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda).
