Reference Number 0000267091 Scope of Services The consultant shall provide, on an as-needed basis, the necessary services in assessment and monitoring of Designated Substance and Hazardous Materials. The services may include, but are not limited to, the following: .1 Locate designated substances; .2 Characterize the materials present in a representative way; .3 Inventory designated substances in the building in question; .4 Formulate recommendations for handling and disposing of materials containing designated substances. Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for abbreviated proposals from consulting firms to award a Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) to provide "as and when required" the following professional services in the Quebec Region: Locate designated substances, characterize the materials present in a representative manner, inventory designated substances in the building in question, and make recommendations regarding the handling and disposal of materials containing designated substances. Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFAP. The objective of this RFAP is to select the proponent with the highest total score. The SOA will be for a period of one (1) year with a maximum value of $ 335,000.00. If mutually agreeable between the Consultant and DCC, the SOA may be extended for up to three (3) additional years periods and increased in the order of $335,000.00 thrice at any time during the term of the SAO at the sole discretion of DCC. Call-ups under the SOA are expected to be valued between $ 5,000.00 and $ 15,000.00; the maximum value of a call-up under the SOA is $ 25,000.00.
