Detailed Instructions to Bidders may be reviewed by obtaining Bidding Documents The scope of this Phase 3 Building Renovation and Addition project includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the renovation of approximately 12,000 SF of the existing gymnasium and ancillary areas, and construction of an approximately 2,720 SF single-story addition. Renovation work includes: Removal/replacement of the existing gym floor and floor structure, removal of the exterior cladding and replacement with new windows and cladding, masonry repairs and repointing, refinishing the existing wood bleachers, accessibility improvements, new floor finishes, suspended ceiling systems, painting, basketball goals, volleyball standards, scoreboard, removal and replacement of all electrical systems including lighting and power, installation of heat pumps to condition ancillary areas, installation of a grademounted rooftop unit to condition the gym space, and renovation of the kitchenette and related areas of the 5th Quarter Teen Center. The addition will provide a vestibule and entrance lobby, gang toilets, conference room, warming kitchen, and accessible ramp to the ground floor level housing the 5th Quarter Teen Center. Some site work will be completed around the immediate addition area to tie into the existing conditions.
