Sealed bids will be received by the PURCHASING DEPARTMENT for the construction of: Drainage Improvements Storer and Harmon Avenues Each bid must be accompanied by a DEPOSIT in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, made payable to the CITY OF NEW ROCHELLE, NEW YORK, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price (CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Firms qualified and certified as Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) are strongly encouraged to submit a bid. The City of New Rochelle is a supporter of the Westchester Affirmative Action Equal Employment Opportunity requirements and agreements. In compliance with Section 3, the City of New Rochelle encourages employment first of New Rochelle residents. Please note that the Contractor shall pay the higher wage rates of either the prevailing New York State Wage Rates or Davis Bacon.
