Renovation of a detention facility in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
In general, the work consists of: Update and replace existing water softeners at the heating plant with new softeners, carbon filters and RO systems capable of the flow requirements required for regeneration and emergency backup. Work will also include updates to the existing brine tank. Existing systems do not utilize RO quality water to the boilers. RO quality water will help reduce energy consumption and improve water chemistry to the boilers. Improving chemical and salt delivery to the process will limit operation handling and improve safety. Failure to visit the site or failure to examine any and all Contract Documents will in no way relieve the successful contractor from the necessity of furnishing any materials or equipment, or performing any work, that may be required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
