Brunswick County, Virginia will accept proposals for maintenance services and to remove and/or otherwise control vegetative growth on the Great Creek Dam structure, park grounds, and nature walking trail. County Park at Great Creek is located off of Christanna Highway (Route 46). The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) by Brunswick County, Virginia (County) is to solicit the interest of contractors in providing maintenance services at County Park at Great Creek. Copies of the specifications are attached. Questions related to the RFP or requests for clarification may be directed to the County Administrator's Office, phone number (434-848-3107). The contract shall cover the period beginning upon receipt of signed Agreement and continuing for three-year period. This contract may be renewed at the option of the County based on the terms and conditions herein. The contract may be renewed for two additional one-year periods for a total of five years. The County reserves the right to negotiate contact terms with the successful offeror/bidder for items/services identified but not specifically described in this RFP in the best interest of the County and agreed to by the contractor. Additional work of reasonable scale shall be priced consistent with proposal to allow for additions and future expansions of a similar nature.
