Renovation of an educational facility in Montgomery, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Montgomery Area School District - Elementary - RTU-A2 Replacement Minor demolition, cutting and patching, limited structural steel, fireproofing/firestopping, painting, and related electrical work. You are responsible for coordinating with our HVAC control company. They will complete the disabling of the old HVAC unit and hookup of the new HVAC unit. This project is a Prevailing Wage project under PA-8: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies to a public works project that involves construction, reconstruction, demolition, alteration, and/or repair work other than maintenance where the estimated cost of the total project is in excess of $25,000 and there is no federal funding involved in the project. Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check of a sum not less than 10 percent of the Bid Price. A Performance and Payment Bond, each for one hundred (100%) of the contract charge will be required. The successful Bidder shall also furnish to the Owner a Maintenance Bond covering defects of material and workmanship for the calendar year following the Owners approval and acceptance of the Construction. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids that are not in the best interest of the Owner and to waive any irregularities in the bids.
