If Bidder chooses to submit a Hard copy, it must be delivered in a sealed envelope with a return address and clearly marked "Tripp Avenue - Phase I Paving & Drainage Improvements from W. 42nd Street to W. 16th Street" The Bidder's firm name shall appear on the outside of the envelope. Background Ector County Public Works is requiring full reconstruction of the road to include 2-lanes with 4-ft shoulders and side drainage ditches. Questions Due:April 11, 2024, 5:00pm Bid Bond The bid shall be accompanied by a Surety Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price. Bid bonds will be returned after the award of the bid. Upon the Bidders submittal of a Performance bond within thirty (30) calendar days following the notice of award, their Bid bond will be returned to them. In case of failure or refusal to do so within the time stated the bond submitted with the bid will be forfeited as liquidated damages.
