A later owner of the farm, Lawson Allen, sold the 10-acre tract that would become Benham's Grove in 1843. ___________________ The City of Centerville is requesting quotes for work on the barn at Benham's Grove. This is not anticipated to be a State Prevailing Wage project, as the awarded contract amount will be under $75,000. Prevailing Wages 1.18.1 Pursuant to Section 4115.03 of the Ohio Revised Code, the successful Bidder and all of its subcontractors, regardless of tier, will strictly comply with its obligation to pay a rate of wages on the Project not less than the rate of wages fixed for this Project under Section 4115.04 of the Ohio Revised Code. Additionally, the successful Bidder will comply with all other provisions of Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code. 1.18.2 Refer to the Prevailing Wage document in the Owner's Bid Express Public Home Page Standard Documents for current Prevailing Wage Threshold Levels. Bidder's Pledge and Agreement 1.1.1 Each Bidder acknowledges that this is a public project involving public funds and that the Owner expects and requires that each successful Bidder adhere to the highest ethical and performance standards. Each Bidder by submitting a bid pledges and agrees that (a) it will act at all times with absolute integrity and truthfulness in its dealings with the Owner and the Design Professional, (b) it will use its best efforts to cooperate with the Owner and the Design Professional and all other Contractors on the Project and at all times will act with professionalism and dignity in its dealings with the Owner, Design Professional, and other Contractors, (c) it will assign only competent supervisors and workers to the Project, each of whom is fully qualified to perform the tasks that are assigned to him/her, and (d) it has read, understands and will comply with the terms of the Contract Documents. 1.1.2 QUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: The Owner requires that the bidder shall furnish satisfactory evidence that it has the necessary resources to fulfill the conditions of the Contract Documents. The evidence shall be listed in the form "Experience Statement". Contracts will be awarded only to responsible prospective Contractors who: 1.1.2.1 Have adequate financial resources or the ability to obtain such resources as required during performance of the contract. 1.1.2.2 Have a satisfactory record of performance. (Contractors who are delinquent in current Contract performance, when the number of Contracts and the extent of delinquencies of each are considered, shall be presumed to be unable to fulfill this requirement). 1.1.3 Conform to the requirements of the Anti-discrimination Clause. 1.1.4 Are otherwise qualified and eligible to receive an award under applicable laws and regulations.
