Site work for a civil project in North Bay, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Reference Number 0000267176 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/04/11 01:00:00 PM EDT North Bay Hydro intends to replace the existing underground 12.47 kV cables due to age and deterioration on parts of Labreche Drive and Blair Street and relocate them underground within the road allowance. The Work will be divided into three parts, with Part C tendered separately by North Bay Hydro at a later date. Parts A-C will include the following: Part A - Construction of Primary and Secondary Underground Services Installation of 140 meters of six (6) duct main trench. Installation of 201 meters of two (2) duct main trench. Installation of new secondary ducts to 42 houses. Installation of five (5) new transformer bases. Installation of five (5) secondary junction boxes. Pulling of all conductors. Part B - Installation of Services from meter base to house electrical panel Digging from each new meter base location to the existing service entrance location. Installation of conduit for electrical wires. Part C - [ Electrical Work (to be tendered separately) Reconnection of 42 homes which include wire provision, installation, and connection to panel and meter base. 12 homes to have relocated meter base locations. 30 homes to maintain their existing meter base locations. 41 homes to have new 200A underground meter bases. Obtain ESA approvals for all reconnections. Construction shall commence Wednesday, May 22, 2024, and be completed by Tuesday, September 24, 2024 as described in EXP's tender Schedule. This includes all works associated with Parts A-B. Each Tender must include a Tender deposit in the form of a certified cheque, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit for 10 percent (10%) of the Tender price OR a Bid Bond in an amount of 10 percent (10%) of the Tender amount payable to North Bay Hydro Distribution Ltd. Owner to become bound to the Owner as surety for the Tenderer in a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) and a payment bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Tender Price or in such greater amount as may be determined by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject, in the Owners best interest, any or all Tenders. The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.
