Electrical work shall include: 1) Relocation of existing ceiling mounted lighting and power to accommodate new dropped ceiling. 2) Installation of new receptacles on new walls. 3) Extension of existing branch circuitry to new power and lighting locations. 4) Installation of power to new mechanical systems. 5) Installation of circuit breakers in owner provided panelboard for new mechanical systems. 6) Installation of new fire alarm devices in classrooms. c. Architectural: 1) Selective demolition. 2) New windows and doors. 3) New interior walls. 4) New ceilings to be installed in (5) classrooms and corridor. 5) Patching and painting of gypsum wall board. 6) Masonry infill. 7) Roof patching for new mechanical units. 3. Factory startup and commissioning of new heating systems and applicable controls. 4. Contractor shall final clean each work area upon completion and acceptance to the standards and specifications of Tewksbury Public Schools. 5. All work shall be installed in strict conformance with all applicable code requirements and manufacturer's written installation instructions. 6. The General Contractor shall furnish and do everything, except as otherwise provided by specific notations herein or on the drawings, necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Plans and Project Manual. He shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, supplies, tools, water, machinery, implements, light, power, transportation, and other facilities required, and do all work necessary for the complete execution and completion of the Contract, except that work or materials specifically stated to be done or furnished by others. 7. All work and materials furnished and installed shall be of the best quality and workmanship, and to the satisfaction of the Engineer. There shall be no defect in the work or the operation thereof due to inferior materials or the workman like placing of any part. The work under this contract shall be performed at such times as may be necessary to facilitate the orderly progress of the work. It is the intention of these Specifications and Plans to cover all work necessary and incidental to the completion of this project, including all trades, as shown on the drawings or specified. 8. Contractor shall do all necessary cutting and patching of structural and finish work as necessary to provide the finished results shown on the Contract Drawings and as herein specified.
