As of November 11, 2025, the project is under construction. A general contractor has been selected. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Inviting sealed bids from GC's and filed sub-Bidders for the Roof Renovations to City Hall Annex, DPW and Childrens Museum/Volleyball Hall of Fame. Approximately 27,000 sq. ft. in total. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Time for Completion. The Contractor shall commence the Work under this Contract on the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed, and shall bring the Work to Substantial Completion no later than 90 days thereafter and Final Completion within an additional 30 days A. The Work under the Contract consists of: 1. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. 2. The Project shall consist of, but not limited to: The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of reroofing three buildings for the City ofHolyoke: 1. City Hall Annex building, which includes approx. 8,000 s.f. roof replacement, masonry chimney repair, partial stone and masonry repointing. Demolition of penthouse exterior stucco skin. Re-skin penthouse with metal wall panel system. Removal of exist pyramid style skylights and replaced with new gable style glass skylights in existing openings. Limited site work includes rain leader tie-in to existing storm drain and pavement patching and repair. 2. DPW building, which includes approx. 5,000 s.f. of partial roof to be replaced, new drains with new locations, demolition of masonry chimneys and new boiler flue. Removal of one skylight with new gable style placed in existing opening. 3. Children's Museum, which includes approx. 14,000 s.f. roof replacement and adding overflow scuppers. Demolishing exterior thin brick skin of clerestory. Re-skin clerestory with metal wall panel system. Completion- 114 consecutive calendar days.
