Elevator equipment and cab are to be modernized by installing new solid-state microprocessor generic controllers with starters, stainless steel vandal-resistant interior surfaces, new lighting, ADA compliance updates, car position indicators, new vandal resistant call buttons, and door infrared protection device. As of March 28, 2024, this project is included in the City of Orlando's Fiscal Years 2024 -2028 CIP and funding allotted for FY 2024/25 and FY 2025/26. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
