Owens Cross Roads New WWTP Project. The Work to Be Performed Under This Contract Includes Provisions Associated With Federal Funding Allocations and Shall Consist of Supplying All Required Materials, Equipment, Labor, and Services, to Perform All Work Both Necessary for and Incidental to the Construction of a New 0.9 Mgd Sequencing Batch Reactor Wastewater Treatment Plant and Decommission/demolition of an Existing 0.2 Mgd Plant as Noted and Shown in the Project Plans and Specifications. Bidders Must Document a Minimum of 10 Years Experience in the Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction Industry. All Qualified Applicants Will Receive Consideration for Selection Without Regard to Race, Color, Religion, Sex, or National Origin. Qualified Small and Minority Businesses and Women's Business Enterprises Are Encouraged to Submit Proposals. Construction Contracts Shall Be Awarded Only to Qualified Contractors, Licensed by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, as Required by Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama. Construction Contracts in Excess of $50,000 Shall Be Awarded Only to Contractors Licensed as Required by the 1978 Code of Alabama, Title 34, Chapter 8 as Amended.
