Site work for a water / sewer project in Haines, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional engineering design services for improvements to the Haines Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) ferry terminal water treatment system to meet Surface Water Treatment regulations. This work will include troubleshooting and redesigning the existing infrastructure to comply with regulations, facilitate the permitting for the modifications made to the source water intake and redesign, and support during bidding and construction. A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is from March 01, 2024 to December 31,2026. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of less than $200,000. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
