Renovation of a residential development in Billings, Montana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Reference Number 0000347481 This will be a Single Prime Contract with a General Contractor obtaining bids from his subcontractors. The bid shall consist of: Bid Lot #1 - St. John's Townhomes Mechanical Upgrades (PTACS) and Bid Lot #2 - South Park Townhomes Mechanical Upgrades (Mini-Splits). Contractor shall have the option of bidding one Bid Lot or the other, or both. St. Johns Townhomes Mechanical Upgrades Bid Lot 1 :- addition of ptac air conditioning and heating units to the living rooms of each dwelling in each of the five quadplex units. 1. Work includes installation of PTAC Mechanical units in the living rooms of each dwelling in the five quad-plex buildings as noted. 2. Project new work will include selective demolition of drywall, wall framing and exterior siding, and installation of new PTAC units and wiring to electric panels from units. All disrupted surfaces to be repaired. See plans for new PTAC mechanical units. 3. Units will be occupied. Coordinate work with Owner's representative for scheduling of work with tenants. General Requirements - Bidder /Preregistration Required - Bid Deposit Required - Contractors License Required - Employee Background Checks Required - Insurance Required - License Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % -- Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier=s check, bank money order, a bank draft drawn or bid bond payable to HomeFront of Billings in the amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid.The successful bidder shall furnish an approved performance bond and a labor & material payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful bidder and a certificate of that insurance shall be provided. The bonding company used must be on the Federal Treasury listing. If the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into such contract or to provide the necessary bonds or insurance as stated above, the 10 percent (10%) bid security shall be forfeited. Each prime bidder and sub-contractor (for work over $5,000.00) shall have a current Montana Public Contractor=s License of the proper class Contractors to guarantee bids for thirty (30) days The HomeFront of Billings is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Fair Housing Provider.
