Renovation of a religious / funeral development in Marianna, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 3,500-square-foot, two-story above grade religious / funeral development.
**As of September 24, 2024, the City rejected all bids received at the May 16, 2024 bid opening and is proceeding with utilizing DHM to provide Construction Management Services for the project. The City of Marianna will be requesting various quotes for the renovations to St. Luke Church located at 4478 Jackson Street, Marianna, FL 32448. St. Luke Church is a 3,500 sf two story historical brick structure that was severely damaged by Hurricane Michael. Quote solicitation may include installation and materials including structural concrete, structural steel, helical piles, demolition, material testing, masonry, masonry repair, electrical, etc. required for the first phase of renovations. Quotes will be solicited in accordance with Informal Procurement (less than $250,000) as provided in Code of Federal Regulations 2 CFR 200.317-200.327. Vendors shall be selected based upon the Best Value, meaning highest overall value to the state and city based on factors that include, but are not limited to price, quality, design, and workmanship. David H. Melvin, Inc. is the authorized construction manager. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders are encouraged to solicit Minority and Service-Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation and provide documentation of such solicitation.
