The City of Charlottesville is soliciting bids from qualified bidders to establish a term contract for mowing and trimming services on City managed trails. Period Of Contract: Contract shall be for one year, beginning date of ratified contract, with the option to renew under the terms of the original agreement for up to five (5) additional one-year terms if agreed upon in writing by both parties. Question Deadline 04/02/2024. Any questions related to this solicitation must be submitted to the city staff listed on page 1 no fewer than five (5) work days prior to the date set by this IFB for receipt of bids by the City. All Inquiries For Information Should Be Submitted in Writing and Be Directed To: Joe Hoffman, Buyer II, at purchasing@charlottesville.gov. Right to Revise or Reject: The City reserves the right, but not the obligation, to revise any insurance requirement not limited to limits, coverages and endorsements, or reject any insurance policies which fail to meet the criteria stated herein. Additionally, the City reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review and reject any insurer providing coverage due to its poor financial condition or failure to operate legally.
