The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish, deliver, and stockpile various types of aggregate on an as-needed basis at Rural Rustic Road Projects within the Augusta and Rockingham Co of the Harrisonburg Residency of VDOT's Staunton District. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Pam.Sprouse at Pam.Sprouse@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM on April 3, 2024. The contract will be for a period of one (1) year, with the start date determined at time of award (nonrenewable). The Commonwealth will make the award(s) on a line item basis within each lot to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The purchasing office reserves the right to conduct any test it may deem advisable and to make all evaluations. The Commonwealth also reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive informalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of the procuring public body to be in its best interest.
