The public work for which bids are being accepted is described as follows: The Work includes preconstruction design services, furnishing biosolids drying equipment, delivery of this equipment to the project location, post-construction inspection and startup services, and all other services as required to provide a complete and workable biosolids drying system. All submitted bids shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit (certified or cashier's check or approved bond) payable to the City of Sumner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal price. Should the Successful Bidder fail to enter into a contract with the City and furnish a. satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Sumner.
