5/8 Award Recommendation The Contract work consists of the following repairs to the Issaquah class ferry M.V. Cathlamet: drydock the vessel for U.S. Coast Guard Credit drydocking and internal structural exam; hull gauging: anode renewals; rudder inspections; controllable pitch propeller blade inspections; shaft seal element renewals; fresh water wash; curtain plate interior and. exterior spot coatings; grit blasting and coating of the upper and lower vehicle deck and vehicle deck steel renewals; Machinery bilges, Sewage, and water tank preservation; firemain, sprinkler and sewage piping renewals; passenger deck refurbishment; and other miscellaneous work and maintenance, as specified m the IFB Technical Specifications. The vessel is 328'-2" x 78'-8" and carries 124 vehicles and 1,216 passengers. All of the work must be performed within Puget Sound, Washington during the period of June 3 - August 2, 2024. Bidders must be prequalified by WSF in Class 82 work, "Vessel Drydocking & Hull Repairs' prior to the bid due date.
