The Rural Municipality of Lipton #217 is accepting sealed tenders for a three-year gravel contract within the Municipality commencing April 22nd, 2024. The contract requires the contractor to have the ability and the equipment to crush the gravel to 7/8", load and haul to the all roads within our Municipality. The gravel haul is made up of general road gravelling, spot gravelling and hauling to sites where culverts are being installed. The Rural Municipality of Lipton #217 is accepting sealed tenders for a three-year gravel contract within the Municipality commencing April 22 nd , 2024. The contract requires the contractor to have the ability and the equipment to crush the gravel to 7/8", load and haul to the all roads within our Municipality. The gravel haul is made up of general road gravelling, spot gravelling and hauling to sites where culverts are being installed. The bid shall include a price for crushing, loading and hauling the gravel. It should be noted that the contract may be split between crushing and loading/ hauling. Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, not necessarily the lowest and may choose to split the contract between crushing and loading/hauling. Average annual crushing required 15,000 cubic yards (11,500 cubic metres). The Municipality's average annual usage is approximately 18,000 cubic yards(13,800 cubic metres) The contractor must also have coverage under Worker's Compensation and supply a letter of good standing and carry a minimum, $2,000,000 in liability insurance.
