The City is seeking bids from persons interested in rehabbing 210 South 5th Street. The property has a 1-story home with 752 square feet of total living space, built in 1900 with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The property has a garage (14' x 22') with alley access. The parcel is a 33' by 60'. The property will need to be cleaned out and the roof will need to be replaced. The foundation needs to be inspected on the back corner where a sink hole has begun. HVAC, furnace and electrical will need to have an inspection completed and repairs or replacement as required. If no repairs or replacement is needed, a letter from a certified person stating that those items do not need to be repaired or replaced must be submitted to the city. The property will need to be brought to code and have an occupancy permit issued by Building and Neighborhood Services when all work is completed. All work requiring permits must have permits pulled and inspections completed.
