Campus Generator Replacement-Department of Social & Health Services Estimated Cost Range: $480,000 to $989,500 The undersigned hereby agrees to Substantially Complete all the work under the Base Bid (and accepted Alternates) within 565 calendar days after the date of Notice to Proceed. This includes 365 days for preconstruction activities such as submittals, background checks and procurement of long lead items. Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% Washington Small Business, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project. Achievement of the goals is encouraged. The State reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Please direct questions regarding this project to the office of the Consultant, CEG, Nate O'Neel (509) 540-2936, noneel@cegiusa.com In accordance with RCW 39.30.060, if the base bid and the sum of the alternates (if applicable) combined together reach one million dollars or more, the Bidder is required to provide the names of the Subcontractors with whom the Bidder will directly subcontract for the performance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing and electrical for this project on Subcontractor List Form A within one hour of the bid submittal time via email to FPSsubcontractorlist@des.wa.gov When the sum of the base bid plus all additive bid alternates is $35,000.00 or less, bid security is not required. When the sum of the base bid plus all additive alternates is greater than $35,000.00, a bid guarantee in the amount of 5% of the base bid amount is required. Failure of the Bidder to provide bid guarantee when required shall render the bid non-responsive. Acceptable forms of bid guarantee are A bid bond or postal money order, or certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Washington State Treasurer. At the time of bid, the bidder must upload an electronic copy of the acceptable bid guarantee to the online.
