The Virginia Indigent Defense Commission (VIDC) is seeking one (1) contractor to perform janitorial/custodial services for the Halifax Public Defender Office. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, cleaning supplies, and incidentals required and/or implied for the complete and satisfactory performance of janitorial services at VIDC Halifax Public Defender Office as required and provided in this solicitation. Quality of Work Performance Standards and Detail Requirements: All work shall be quality work performed to the Halifax Public Defender office's satisfaction and that is at least in accordance with standard commercial practices recognized in the industry. Site of Work: The Halifax Public Defender Office is located at 2201 Wilborn Avenue, South Boston, VA 24592. Weekly Janitorial Service: Requires janitorial services to include the following areas: an entrance foyer/client waiting room; reception/secretarial area; individual offices; hallway; restrooms; kitchen area; trash removal Monthly Janitorial Service: Requires janitorial services to include dusting and mopping of the following areas: light fixtures and vents; walls, switch plates, and baseboards; interior and exterior doors; pictures on wall; bathroom and kitchen floors; laminate and vinyl floors; windows and glass surfaces Work Address: Halifax Public Defender Office 2201 Wilburn Avenue South Boston, VA 24592 Period of Contract: One-Year Term - with two (1) one-year optional renewals Pre-proposal Conference: NA Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing via email only to Roxanne Thomas at rthomas@vadefenders.org.
