Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wartburg, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a development; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Contractor shall be responsible for all equipment, labor, and materials necessary for this project at Frozen Head State Park. All work shall be done in accordance with the latest industry standards. Any deviations from the scope of work shall be executed only with written approval by Facilities Management. The Contractor shall be responsible for the safety and security of the site during this project. The Contractor shall be responsible for notifying park staff at the end of each day before leaving to ensure the site is secure. The Contractor shall use barriers where necessary to prevent vehicles and pedestrians from entering the parking lot area. All containers and trash shall be removed and disposed of off state property in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Contractor shall visit site to obtain accurate measurements. This project must be completed by June 15th , 2024. A. The Contractor shall apply 6 inches of 2- to 3-inch crushed stone. B. The Contractor shall compact stone as level as possible. C. The Contractor shall apply 4-inches of crusher run stone. D. The Contractor shall compact crusher run stone as level as possible. E. The Contractor shall build a four (4) panel board pressure treated fence along road starting at the wood line going 20-feet and stop, leave 30-feet access opening and continue to the access bridge. Posts shall be 4-inch x 4-inch and fence boards shall be 2-inch x 6-inch; posts shall be installed 10-feet on center. F. The Contractor shall pour 4000 PSI concrete, 16-inches wide x 12-inches deep x 6-feet long, using 1/2 -inch rebar 4-foot long driven into the ground 40-inches deep every 12-inches. Abutments on each end where 4-foot-wide x 20-foot long bridge is to be placed. Bridge shall be built using three (3), 2-inch x 4-inch pressure treated laminated joist beams with 2-inch x 6-inch decking. The posts on the bridge shall be 4-inch x 4-inch and shall be at a height of 36-inches from floor. Handrails shall be built using 2-inch x 6-inch x 10-foot. G. Bridge entrance and exit point shall be level with the parking lot and walking trail. Handrails on bridge shall be built to match the other bridge on site. H. The Contractor shall install 4-foot x 20- foot goat panels 4-inch squares on the bridge railing for safety codes compliance. I. The Contractor shall install panels using 1 1/2-inch fencing staples. J. The parking lot shall stay at the same slope and grade as existing for proper runoff. K. The parking lot shall stay same size as existing. License requirements for all bids over $25,000 are BC-B(sm), BC-B, and BC-C. All bids over $100,000 shall include provisions for a payment bond in the amount of twenty-five percent (25%) of the contract price. This solicitation is to bid for a one- time purchase for the provision of a parking lot repair for Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation at Frozen Head State Park.
