Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and parking garage.

Scope of Work: Conduct a structural analysis of Santa Fe Parking Garage to determine if the garage structure will support the deadload of the proposed pedestrian bridge and based on the outcome provide final construction plans for a pedestrian bridge spanning North E. K. Gaylord Boulevard from the Santa Fe Parking Garage east to Park Avenue. The proposed pedestrian bridge would tie into the Santa Fe Parking Garage at the 2nd floor, which is 21-feet above grade. This elevation will allow the bridge to meet the ODOT requirement of 14-feet minimum overhead clearance for E.K. Gaylord. The pedestrian bridge span would consist of a 104-feet long by 24-feet wide by 16-feet high, with an 8-feet wide walkway enclosed with glass sides 8-inch high through the center of the truss. The walkway would be covered by elevated stretched fabric canopy that would allow for free air circulation between the walkway and canopy. The fixed limit of construction is based on an alternative design if the structural analysis determines the Santa Fe Depot cannot support the proposed dead load. This alternative design would include two elevator towers, one on the east side and west side of the project within the current right of way. The alternative design may impact the roadway alignment with a reduction of one lane to support the towers as well as American with Disabilities Act compliant sidewalk. The fixed Limit of Construction Cost is $5,009.760. The City and its Trust reserve the right to award the Contract(s) or not and to revise the Scope of Services and/or the Project scope or description, as may be in the best interest of the City or Trust. Timeline: The Conceptual Report is due by the end of September 2024. Final plans are due within 120 calendar days after the preliminary report delivery date.
